چکیده
The work presented in this paper is part of a wider research project, which aims at documenting and analyzing stained glass windows by means hyperspectral imaging. This technique shares some similarities with UV-VIS-IR spectroscopy, as they both provide spectral information; however, imaging has the additional advantage providing spatial information, since spectrum can be collected each pixel image. Compared to rarely been used for investigation windows. One objectives is, thus, compare performance these two instruments validate results second objective evaluate potential colored-glass pieces reflectance modality those obtained transmittance, order highlight differences between approaches. geometry systems backing material glass, well characteristics pieces, are discussed. L*a*b* values from spectra, calculated color difference ΔE00, provided, show degree agreement measurement modalities.

Reflectance Spectroscopy of Colored Overprints
This paper describes a new methodology for analyzing overprinted stamps. This methodology is based on two procedures. The first performs precise measurements of the dimensions of overprints and a statistical analysis of the minor variations present among them. The second performs a colorimetric analysis of the ink used for printing the overprints. The goal is to determine if these methods can d...
متن کاملEstimating Nitrogen and Acid Detergent Fiber Contents of Grass Species using Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS)
Chemical assessments of forage clearly determine the forage quality; however, traditional methods of analysis are somehow time consuming, costly, and technically demanding. Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) has been reported as a method for evaluating chemical composition of agriculture products, food, and forage and has several advantages over chemical analyses such as conducting c...
متن کاملQuantitative Hyperspectral Reflectance Imaging
Hyperspectral imaging is a non-destructive optical analysis technique that can for instance be used to obtain information from cultural heritage objects unavailable with conventional colour or multi-spectral photography. This technique can be used to distinguish and recognize materials, to enhance the visibility of faint or obscured features, to detect signs of degradation and study the effect ...
